Every year, Groupe R trains a new class of apprentices across its six companies and 13 locations in western Switzerland. Joining us means learning a trade from people who love what they do, in family-run companies where everyone knows your name, backed by one of the region’s leading construction groups.

By their second year, our apprentices are running inventory, working directly with customers, and pitching in on job sites. Certified in-house trainers mentor them every step of the way.

Trades you can learn with us

The trades on offer vary by company and from year to year, so think of this list as a guide. Check our current openings, or send an open application to find out which spots are available for the next school year. VET Diploma and VET Certificate are the official Swiss vocational qualifications (CFC and AFP in French).

Five ways to grow

Your apprenticeship is just the beginning. Groupe R offers career paths in five areas: outside sales, administration, operations, transportation, and the specialized trades of each company (cranes, locking systems, robotics). Moving between our six companies is part of how we work.
